About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design end-to-end AI solutions, including data ingestion, model training/fine-tuning, deployment, monitoring, lifecycle management, and machine learning architectures
  • Lead AI initiatives from proof of concepts to scalable, enterprise-wide production deployments
  • Evaluate and recommend AI technologies including deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI
  • Lead the design of AI architectures, LLM/RAG pipelines, and agentic workflow orchestration
  • Design and build low-code and no-code abstraction layers, visual workflow nodes, and template engines for agent creation
  • Define AI strategy, roadmaps, and technology standards
  • Evaluate emerging AI/ML, agentic framework, and automation technologies and recommend adoption
  • Balance hands-on AI model development with cross-functional coordination
  • Support compliance, monitoring, and integration practices for knowledge-based AI adoption
  • Build functional PoCs and MVPs to validate architectural assumptions and technical viability
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, Data Science and IT, service tower leadership, vendors, and consultants
  • Work onsite as required at one of the listed location options

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Software Development
  • 5+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence hardware and software integration
  • 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience, including cloud architecture, security, data privacy, integration, and deployment
  • 5+ years of experience developing information architecture and working with databases
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud-hosted platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
  • 3+ years of experience with AI and ML technologies
  • 3+ years of experience with modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and Visual Basic
  • 3+ years of experience researching and applying large language and generative AI models
  • Experience training machine learning models in a cloud computing environment
  • Fundamental knowledge of MLOps
  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Bachelor's of Science degree or higher preferred
  • Experience with visual automation and conversational platforms preferred
  • Willing and able to travel up to 20% domestically
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
  • U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
