About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop plans for customer activities with appropriate supervision
  • Execute logistics including badging, parking passes, transportation, rental car reservations, hotel reservations, catering, and tours
  • Use company resources and vendor services to execute plans
  • Implement logistics and business courtesies according to company policies, procedures, protocols, and U.S. and foreign government guidelines
  • Make recommendations and revisions during visit preparation and maintenance to satisfy customer and event requirements
  • Assist with logistics for business meetings, customer events, and deliveries at onsite or offsite locations
  • Complete administrative tasks associated with coordinating visits, including accurate and timely invoice submission
  • Compare invoice estimates with actuals to identify and report anomalies
  • Prepare domestic and international shipments
  • Track data and provide status reports for special events, deliveries, and customer engagements as requested
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Negotiate and identify requirements and communicate them to key personnel
  • Provide coverage when senior Customer Relations Specialists request assistance
  • Provide coverage for coworkers who are out of the office
  • Partner with Boeing Commercial Airplanes Customer Relations team members from other sites, including Everett and Charleston, Southern California, and London

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ year experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel domestically as well as internationally
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • 3+ year experience in a customer-facing role engaging with internal or external customers
  • Experience satisfying the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Ability to work 100% onsite at one of the listed location options
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred
  • Experience in organizing, planning and facilitating large-scale events is preferred
  • Must satisfy applicable post-offer drug and alcohol testing criteria
  • Must be legally able to work without employer-sponsored employment visa status
