About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software across the full lifecycle
- Translate customer needs and requirements into software designs and implementation plans
- Develop, document, and maintain software architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and detailed designs
- Develop, integrate, and optimize software products and system integrations
- Debug complex issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot technical problems
- Research and evaluate current and emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks
- Establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics
- Plan, execute, and document software research and development initiatives
- Work on an Agile team within a CI/CD pipeline supporting platform health management for Boeing Global Services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- 2+ years of experience with Object Oriented Design and Programming in a high-level language like C#, .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, and CSS
- 2+ years of experience with software development on Windows or Linux
- 2+ years of experience developing software for containerized architectures (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
- 2+ years of experience in Git
- 2+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment
- Ability to complete the CodeVue technical assessment
- U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Familiarity with software architecture and design principles
- Experience building, integrating, and troubleshooting software components in common host environments
- Practical experience with one or more programming languages and basic database usage
