About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build processes, standards, and operational frameworks from the ground up
- Assess Operational Technology systems for compliance with IT and OT cybersecurity standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot and remediate Building Management Systems and Building Automation Systems, including controllers, field devices, sensors, and integrations
- Analyze BMS alarms, faults, and abnormal conditions; determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Support alarm rationalization and tuning of fault detection and diagnostics rules
- Evaluate integrations between BMS and enterprise systems to ensure reliable data flow and operational visibility
- Support nationwide rollout and integration of the enterprise SCADA platform for building and infrastructure monitoring
- Analyze configuration and connectivity issues and coordinate fixes with site teams, integrators, and vendors
- Facilitate discussions and meetings addressing IT compliance requirements and operational needs
- Forecast new systems, enhancements, and upgrades
- Troubleshoot industrial communication networks and protocols including BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and Ethernet/IP
- Use network analyzers and diagnostic tools
- Assist with technical documentation, integration specifications, as-built configurations, and site onboarding records
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience with Operational Technology
- 5+ years of experience in Real Estate, Facilities Operations and/or Facilities Management
- Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions and recommendations
- Experience developing and managing internal processes and procedures
- Domestic travel up to 25%
- U.S. Person required under 22 C.F.R. §120.62
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
- 10+ years’ related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Experience with Operational Technology, industrial control systems, and IT/OT frameworks such as NIST SP 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443, and ISO 27001 (preferred)
- Experience with facilities OT systems, industrial control systems, or facilities maintenance systems (preferred)
- Experience with SCADA and HMI platforms such as ICONICS GENESIS64, Niagara Framework, or COPA-DATA zenon (preferred)
- Experience with major Building Automation System vendor platforms (preferred)
- Experience with FDD, alarm management, or building analytics platforms (preferred)
- Experience with OT cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies (preferred)
- Experience with multi-site programs and leading initiatives across geographic locations (preferred)
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Wrike, Microsoft Project, or Jira (preferred)
