About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support technology integration and development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions
  • Develop and present review packages to internal and external senior leadership
  • Lead and drive complex system trade studies to closure
  • Ensure system architecture supports mission objectives
  • Lead functional analysis and decomposition for mission activities
  • Coordinate with diverse stakeholders to resolve cross-segment issues
  • Use Model-Based Systems Engineering tools to capture system architecture and operational concepts
  • Lead coordination across internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement executable space-mission operational concepts
  • Serve as a core point of contact for customers and work with subject matter experts to converge on achievable solutions
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams as an individual contributor and project lead

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship Required
  • U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience in systems integration with systems engineering processes and procedures
  • 1+ years of experience with architecture, ConOps, and requirements for space-based systems and associated ground support systems
  • Experience in space systems and working with multi-discipline teams
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Selected candidate must work onsite at one of the listed location options
