About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent Fixed Wing Supply Chain Management as the key interface between the Fixed Wing Programme and Supply Chain
  • Prepare for and attend key programme drumbeat meetings on behalf of Supply Chain Management and communicate priorities within the Supply Chain function
  • Communicate and coordinate tasks and activities across Supplier Management and Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, Demand Forecasting, and Asset Management
  • Oversee the TAF process for Supply Chain across P8 and E7
  • Support Supply Chain Project Managers across Fixed Wing programs, including P8 and E7
  • Manage, triage, impact assess, and communicate changes to programme and contractual baselines relating to Supply Chain scope and requirements
  • Manage overall SCM status, performance, budget, risk, and critical issues within project and functional management structures
  • Report SCM performance, budget, risk, and critical issues across key programme and functional meetings
  • Oversee generation of artefacts for the ESGP process on behalf of Supply Chain
  • Coordinate development and approval of SCM-related artefacts, including Supply Chain Architectures, Bills of Materials, Supply Chain Management Plans, Basis of Estimates, KPIs, schedules, and CDRLs
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead and capture project planning activities relating to SCM projects and relevant project resources
  • Operate according to Supply Chain and Project Management best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5+ years Supply Chain experience
  • Demonstrated experience working within dynamic global supply chains
  • SQEP across multiple Supply Chain domains: Asset Management, Warehouse & Distribution, Supplier Management, Demand Forecasting
  • Experience executing acquisition or sustainment projects within the MRO industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outcome focused and demonstrates strong values-based leadership
  • Demonstrable experience motivating team members to overcome challenging milestones
  • Active or ability to obtain UK security clearance; UK Government requires UK residency
  • Must hold current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom
  • University degree in a relevant subject (preferred)
  • Actively working to or qualified in any of PMI, AMP, PRINCE2, CIPS (preferred)
  • Experience supporting proposal preparation for UK government contracts (preferred)
  • Experience working within a matrix organisation (desirable)
