About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide a forecasting model using daily supply planning and inventory data to support customer requirements
- Maintain supply chain analytic tools for purchasing, planning, master scheduling, SCOR, and ERP/MRP systems
- Develop and maintain an optimized supply inventory model
- Collect, clean, verify, and analyze data
- Identify and communicate demand usage trends across platforms
- Monitor discrepancies and nuances between SAP and SPM
- Update pricing information using Supply Chain data feeds
- Identify potential financial risks by interpreting pricing data
- Assist with the SI&OP process for fixed wing programmes
- Gather and analyze data, prepare reports, and provide decision-making insights
- Align demand plans with business requirements through cross-functional collaboration
- Ensure adequate supply of materials, components, and resources with operations and supply chain teams
- Identify process improvements in demand planning and forecasting methodologies
- Identify and manage risks for modelling cycles
- Build and manage large Excel datasets and modelling records
- Support customer negotiations
- Prepare presentations communicating forecast results and insights
- Support proposal/case write-ups
- Schedule and lead meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience within a Supply Chain role
- 3+ years of experience using inventory management tools or Enterprise Resource Planning systems, e.g. SAP
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros, arrays, pivot tables, and logic statements
- Highly developed numeracy, statistical, and reporting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Team-oriented
- Ability to work autonomously with only general direction
- BPSS
- Ability to acquire UK security clearance; UK Government requires UK residency
- Current legal authorization to work immediately in the United Kingdom
- Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with asset management, demand forecasting, engineering, or simulation
- Preferred: experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau
- Preferred: experience with basic SQL
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or similar
- Successful candidate will hold, or have the ability to acquire, Security Clearance (SC)
