About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide a forecasting model using daily supply planning and inventory data to resolve strategic and tactical plans supporting customer requirements
  • Maintain responsibility for forecast accuracy and analyze model data elements
  • Maintain supply chain analytic tools for purchasing, planning, master scheduling, SCOR, and ERP/MRP systems
  • Use models to estimate resource needs
  • Develop and maintain an optimized supply inventory model
  • Collect, clean, verify, and analyze data
  • Identify and communicate demand usage trends across platforms and correlate regional and supplier data
  • Monitor discrepancies and nuances between SAP and SPM
  • Update pricing information using Supply Chain data feeds
  • Identify potential financial risks by interpreting pricing data
  • Assist with SI&OP process development and maintenance for fixed wing programmes
  • Gather and analyze data, prepare reports, and provide insights for decision-making
  • Work with cross-functional, operations, and supply chain teams to align demand plans and ensure adequate materials, components, and resources
  • Identify process improvements in demand planning and forecasting methodologies
  • Identify and manage risks for modelling cycles
  • Work with large Excel data sets and manage data sets and modelling records
  • Support customer negotiations
  • Prepare presentations communicating forecast results and insights to stakeholders
  • Support proposal/case write-ups
  • Schedule and lead meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience within a Supply Chain role
  • 3+ years of experience using inventory management tools or Enterprise Resource Planning systems, such as SAP
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros, arrays, pivot tables, and logic statements
  • Highly developed numeracy, statistical, and reporting skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Team-oriented
  • Ability to work autonomously with only general direction
  • BPSS
  • Ability to acquire UK security clearance; UK Government requires UK residency
  • Current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom
  • Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience with asset management, demand forecasting, engineering, or simulation
  • Preferred: Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau
  • Preferred: Experience with basic SQL
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or similar
  • Ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check clearance; all information will be checked and verified
  • Employer will not sponsor employment visas
