About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Apply modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code
- Stand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments using cloud-native and virtualized resources
- Drive continuous improvement of integration and test processes through automation, metrics, and lessons learned
- Automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration, and security-control processes
- Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability
- Interface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers
- Support proprietary programs for U.S. government customers and advanced technology national security missions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. security clearance with an adjudicated CI or FS polygraph
- U.S. citizenship required for the security clearance
- U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
- Bachelor-level advanced technical education and typically 2 or more years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 2+ years of experience deploying, securing, and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems (RHEL5/6/7/8)
- Experience in DevOps cloud system design
- Experience with shell scripting in sh and csh variants, Bash, Python, and Perl
- Experience writing and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call support, weekends, and holidays
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred
- Experience with VMware Virtual Machines and Hypervisor is preferred
- Experience with PKI certificates and security protocols is preferred
- Experience with Jira and Confluence is preferred
- Experience with Windows 10+ is preferred
