About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as primary contractor technical support for the MGS battery
  • Assess and report on MGS battery health and readiness with government stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver scheduled assessment products and reports
  • Support requirement changes and communicate impacts to hardware and schedules
  • Maintain internal and external subsystem interfaces
  • Support battery and support-electronics design activities and hardware design reviews
  • Support integration, validation, and verification activities
  • Develop test plans, attend or witness test events, and generate test reports and trend analysis
  • Support Operation Test Flights, anomaly investigations, and post-flight reviews
  • Conduct trade studies, reliability assessments, and special studies on battery aging, reliability, and survivability
  • Participate in program reviews and technical forums
  • Prepare and brief technical materials for government reviews and working groups

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
  • Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
  • Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
  • Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
  • U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance required; U.S. citizenship required by the U.S. Government
  • Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance required post-start
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Subject to post-offer testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met
