About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications for electronic products
  • Develop high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications
  • Validate designs through reviews, testing, and analysis
  • Identify, track, and status technical performance measures
  • Support Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and limited-scope technical services
  • Provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle
  • Investigate emerging technologies and develop concepts for future product designs
  • Work under general direction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or directly related non-US equivalent qualifications
  • Associate Level 2: Typically, 2 or more years' related work experience
  • Experienced Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance; an interim and final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required
  • U.S. Citizenship required for the security clearance
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person
  • Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
  • Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
  • Ability to work 1st shift
  • Current active clearance preferred
  • Previous ICBM experience preferred
  • Previous GPS data receiver/processor design experience preferred
  • Previous data encryption algorithm design experience preferred
  • Previous RF system design experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Engineering departments/disciplines and their interactions preferred
  • MBSE experience and/or certifications preferred
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
