About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the gathering of system-level requirements
  • Perform and document analysis of guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems to validate or assess system design or models
  • Assist troubleshooting of routing operational anomalies, functional tests, and service incidents
  • Support execution tests, analysis, and design reviews per FAA, MIL-SPEC, and NASA guidance to deliver a compliant product
  • Work under close supervision
  • Interact primarily with the immediate supervisor and other personnel within the group
  • Support upgrading field assessment tools using data analytic methods
  • Support sustainment for the Minuteman III Sustainment program across GNC, performance analysis, simulation solutions, nuclear hardness and survivability, and inertial instruments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience in control systems or guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) system design (preferred)
  • Experience in guidance, navigation, and controls (GNC) or aerospace engineering (preferred)
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements; a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain the required U.S. Security Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing when applicable
  • Shift 1 (United States of America)
