About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage CH47 Chinook repair execution in support of USM Helicopter programs
- Coordinate repair induction
- Track vendor quotes, repair status, ship dates, and vendor commitments
- Expedite overdue repair items when necessary
- Resolve material, receiving, traceability, discrepancy, invoice, pricing, and repair billing issues
- Identify risks affecting turnaround time, quality, and stock availability
- Support technical repair disposition reviews and alternate part selection
- Review technical documentation, maintenance data, and applicable instructions
- Report key vendor metrics, delays, and trends in coordination with Product Line Managers
- Provide limited vendor oversight and performance reporting
- Provide sales quotations to internal and external customers for inventory units as needed
- Collaborate with Product Line Managers to review vendor quotes for accuracy, lead time, and compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years’ experience on CH47 Chinook Helicopter maintenance, technical support, logistics or vendor management
- 3+ years’ experience developing/maintaining strong relationships with Vendors and Customers
- 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access)
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong communication and follow-up skills across internal and external stakeholders
- Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15: U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
- Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Must comply with Boeing’s drug-free workplace testing requirements when applicable
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
- Experience working within the helicopter industry (preferred)
- Experience supporting Used Serviceable Material, repair management, or engine programs (preferred)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents (preferred)
