About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive improvement initiatives across the BDUK finance function as the key finance-team focal
- Interface with the Financial Analysis CoE and broader finance leads to identify improvement priorities
- Liaise with the BDUK Finance systems integrator regarding developmental changes to the BDUK SAP system
- Interface with broader BGS Finance Transformation leads and focals to adopt enterprise improvement initiatives
- Coordinate BDUK implementation plans
- Champion change across the functional team
- Support wider functional initiatives as appropriate
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- 3+ years post graduate work as part of a finance/business operations team
- Experience working as part of a high performing team supporting multiple stakeholders/business partner contacts
- Familiarity with Lean methodologies and advocacy for change
- Strong communication skills and ability to bridge functional boundaries
- Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense
- Must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the United Kingdom
- Ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
