About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in preparing the annual operating plan and 5-year strategic plan
  • Own the CAPEX operating plan and 5-year strategic plan
  • Own the monthly re-forecasting process for the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions
  • Manage and generate functional site reporting requirements for all operating locations
  • Prepare consolidated income statement reporting packages with commentary
  • Analyze and provide commentary on actual financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Participate in the month-end financial close process by conducting account analysis
  • Administer the HFM Planning system and reconcile Essbase cubes
  • Partner with Human Resources during month-end headcount close to ensure completeness and accuracy of actual and pipeline headcounts used for total payroll expense forecasting
  • Manage the capital expenditure request database to ensure proper accounting and classification of spend, including Capital versus Expense
  • Review and track expenditures against approved CER spend
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses requested by management and executive leadership
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and index formulas
  • Previous experience with financial/accounting systems, including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Essbase, and A/X
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Workforce planning or other workforce management software tool experience
  • 5+ years of experience creating executive-level presentations using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred
  • Experience working as a collaborative change agent preferred
  • Ability to communicate and drive changes with multiple stakeholders preferred
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate information preferred
  • Experience leading teams and/or projects preferred
  • Project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously preferred
  • Proven ability to drive and lead process improvement implementations preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, geographically diverse team environment preferred
  • Experience with forecasting, resource planning, Estimates at Completion (EAC), or cost management preferred
  • Ability to work across functions and represent finance effectively preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, both virtually and in person preferred
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and ability to meet deliverables preferred
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
