About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a team of cost/price analysis professionals
- Develop and motivate employees
- Develop and maintain relationships/partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes for complex cost/price analyses
- Provide oversight and direct support of supplier and customer negotiations
- Lead process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements
- Provide support for travel if needed
- Support negotiation positions for procurement of goods and services by conducting cost/price analysis of supplier proposals
- Correlate, compile and analyze supplier cost and non-cost data using quantitative and statistical methods
- Perform cost/price analysis of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) government major suppliers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 5+ years' experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Experience with government policies, procedures and regulations relating to contracting, development of proposals, and analysis of supplier proposals
- Experience with audits
- Experience leading negotiations
- Experience working in large, complex, dynamic programs
- Experience with exposure to supplier related data
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a “U.S. Person”
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance required post-start
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process
