About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements
- Integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces
- Define and develop test requirements, test plans, procedures, and schedules
- Perform real-time testing and anomaly resolution
- Lead test execution, data analysis, and preparation of test results for verification and validation
- Lead analyses to optimize total systems of systems and/or system architecture
- Lead analyses covering affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other quality factors
- Lead, develop, maintain, and improve requirements management, tools, RIO management, and technology readiness assessment processes
- Interface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers
- Support proprietary programs for U.S. government customers and advanced technology national security missions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated CI polygraph or FS
- U.S. Citizenship required
- U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience with Systems Engineering processes and principles
- 1+ years of experience leading or managing an engineering project or team
- 1+ experience performing system integration and test
- 1+ experience creating systems engineering technical documents
- Experience with Ground Systems Engineering
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to support customer needs (10%)
- Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Experience with development of Command and Control, Mission Management, and Mission Planning software systems for Ground Systems
- Experience with Ground Systems Maintenance and Modernization
- Experience with virtual Ground station hardware
- Experience in software coding and troubleshooting
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working with Government customers
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
