About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements
- Integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces
- Define and develop test requirements, test plans, procedures, and schedules
- Perform real-time testing and anomaly resolution
- Lead test execution, data analysis, and preparation of test results supporting verification and validation
- Lead analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
- Lead analyses incorporating affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance factors into preferred configurations
- Lead, develop, maintain, and identify improvements for requirements management, RIO management, and technology readiness assessment processes and tools
- Interface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers
- Travel occasionally to support customer needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated CI polygraph or FS
- U.S. Person status required for export control compliance
- U.S. citizenship required for the security clearance
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience with Systems Engineering processes and principles, including system architecture, interface definition, requirements definition, decomposition, verification, and validation
- 1+ year of experience leading or managing an engineering project or team
- 1+ year of experience performing system integration and test
- 1+ year of experience creating systems engineering technical documents, including test procedures, test reports, verification artifacts, and discrepancy/anomaly reports
- Experience with Ground Systems Engineering
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to support customer needs (10%)
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
- Preferred: 9 or more years’ related work experience for Level 4, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Preferred experience with Command and Control, Mission Management, and Mission Planning software systems for Ground Systems
- Preferred experience with Ground Systems Maintenance and Modernization
- Preferred experience with virtual Ground station hardware
- Preferred experience in software coding and troubleshooting
- Preferred experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Preferred experience working with Government customers
