About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and develop software for command and control of satellites
Write software requirements with subject matter expert guidance
Decompose requirements into long-term roadmaps
Develop and test roadmaps in collaboration with end users
Leverage modern frameworks to improve legacy software and tooling
Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes for product users
Collaborate with operations, spacecraft engineering, cybersecurity, and technician teams
Support design, development, integration, testing, and delivery of large-scale ground software and mission control systems
Support testing on components, subsystems, and spacecraft in test configurations
Integrate Millennium software applications into Government-furnished software and infrastructure
Assist with integrated system test events bridging Millennium-developed products and Government-furnished systems
Implement mission data processing applications into existing systems for payloads and end users
Support software testing and installation in classified environments
Assist developers with development tasks and troubleshooting
Assist in validation and verification testing
Complete larger feature requests and own larger software modules, analysis packages, and workflows
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Experience designing and developing software in a production environment
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Final U.S. Secret clearance pre-start OR interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start
U.S. Person status as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 / §120.62
U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
Active TS/SCI Clearance preferred
Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
Must comply with drug-free workplace testing requirements when criteria are met
Applicants must be willing to apply for and maintain a security clearance
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
Willingness to work 100% onsite at one of the listed locations
