About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support technology integration for and development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions
  • Develop and present review packages to internal and external senior leadership
  • Work proactively and independently in a fast-paced, demanding atmosphere
  • Develop physics-based mission simulations to inform system trade studies and verify system performance
  • Develop mission flight plans/concepts exploring new and novel astrodynamics approaches
  • Develop and maintain operational mission planning tools
  • Lead modelling and simulation efforts from early capabilities studies through demonstration
  • Serve as a core point of contact for customers
  • Work with subject matter experts across the business to iterate and converge on achievable solutions
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams to bring concepts of operations to fruition
  • Lead integrated efforts across broad, minimally defined design spaces

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months
  • U.S. Citizenship required for the security clearance
  • U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or comparable software language
  • 7 years of systems engineering experience
  • 2 years of experience in a technical leadership position
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
