About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Elicit, analyze, decompose, and allocate system and subsystem requirements
  • Create, edit, and maintain testable requirements using a requirements management tool
  • Develop and maintain functional, logical, and physical system architecture descriptions
  • Maintain traceability from requirements to architecture and verification
  • Author and maintain specifications and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Manage ICD baselines and change control
  • Develop verification plans, procedures, and test cases
  • Coordinate and perform verification activities including analysis, inspection, demonstration, and test
  • Document verification results
  • Support integration activities and resolve subsystem interface mismatches
  • Maintain requirements traceability matrices and demonstrate requirement closure
  • Participate in SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR reviews
  • Provide status and risk assessments for requirements and verification
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, test, suppliers, manufacturing, and product management teams
  • Support configuration and change control processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required); a clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active
  • 10+ years of related work experience
  • Experience with satellite systems or space related applications
  • Proven experience applying systems thinking principles to complex engineering challenges
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated success delivering systems engineering artifacts, including requirements, specifications, and interface documents
  • Extensive experience developing and refining system architectures
  • Foundational knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency with Digital System Engineering (DSE) tools and environments
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements and qualify as a “U.S. Person”
