About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Boeing Global Services Government sustainment programs
- Support all phases of the development life-cycle for hardware, including the supply base from inception to post-delivery
- Perform detailed Quality Engineering investigations
- Execute product containment and implement effective Root Cause Corrective Action
- Verify routine product conformance to design requirements and provide objective evidence of results
- Conduct product reviews with DCMA customers during product or process verification
- Identify and document discrepancies
- Segregate and control non-conforming items
- Identify repetitive or significant non-conformances for corrective action
- Integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into proposals and program processes and documentation
- Develop quality metrics and quality plans to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements
- Process supplier notices of escapements
- Perform supplier performance improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 3+ years of experience solving technical problems
- Typically 5 or more years' related work experience for Level 3, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required
- U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Previous work experience in aerospace, manufacturing, quality, or another highly regulated industry preferred
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action experience preferred
- Previous experience in Quality preferred
