About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review the Minuteman Weapon System daily to evaluate and document Launch Facility Activity Data in the Performance Assessment Data System (PADS)
Coordinate with and assist Technical Engineering on guidance system troubleshooting
Coordinate placement and parameter setting of Communication Equipment Interface Unit (CEIMinutU) for Air Force test data collection
Assist missile maintenance personnel with PADS access and train them to interpret PADS data
Interface with Boeing analysts and Boeing depot with the wing maintenance organization
Administer the Data Collector workstation at the wing to maintain data flow from missiles to the PADS database
Apply monthly Windows patching to primary and standby workstations
Coordinate with local communications groups on PADS deployment and maintenance efforts
Complete initial and recurring guidance system training on Minuteman III ICBM and PADS

Requirements

What you’ll need

Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience
Level 4: Typically, 9 or more years' related work experience
3+ years’ experience with Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) systems
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required by the U.S. Government
Interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start required
U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense
Level 3: Advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5+ years' related work experience, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Level 4: Advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9+ years' related work experience, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Minuteman III maintenance experience preferred
Experience in computing and network infrastructure preferred
Familiarity with database applications such as Oracle preferred
