About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and monitor occupational and industrial health and safety programs and processes
  • Evaluate the impact of emerging issues, regulations, and legislation on company operations
  • Develop corrective action plans in response to incident investigations, internal/external audits, and inspections
  • Plan and conduct on-site health and safety audits, inspections, and evaluations
  • Support production operation teams through problem solving and risk mitigation
  • Monitor and support change management and integration of EHS processes into equipment acquisitions and modifications
  • Communicate data, project plans, actions, and results at production meetings with individual contributors, managers, and executive leadership
  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to develop solutions that reduce workplace injury risk
  • Resolve cross-functional technical issues with stakeholders and foster positive outcomes
  • Support EHS team internal audits, root cause analysis, risk management, industrial health initiatives, and site safety plan management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
  • 3+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required for U.S. export control compliance
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Must be available for Shift 1 (United States of America)
