About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions for products and services
  • Engage stakeholders to integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
  • Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements
  • Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
  • Optimise supply-chain execution by balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
  • Continuously review and analyse demand and supply
  • Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance
  • Mitigate risks and issues
  • Initiate supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
  • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience supporting contract terms and conditions development, negotiations and raising contracts
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
  • Ability to obtain a UK security Clearance; UK Government requires UK residency
  • Current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom
  • MCIPS (nice to have)
  • Experience within a Procurement or Supply Chain role in the Aerospace/Defence industry (preferred)
  • Experience within an Engineering/Production environment (preferred)
  • Experience using SAP (preferred)
  • Ability to hold or obtain Security Clearance (SC)
