About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Issue purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Communicate and follow up with suppliers on order status
  • Coordinate with suppliers and process purchase order changes
  • Resolve grievances and NCRs
  • Interpret contract terms and conditions
  • Utilize metrics and dashboards to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Facilitate supplier/subcontractor business relationships, delivery requirements, and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
  • Develop, document, and implement process changes supporting company goals
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline process flows
  • Work independently on routine problems or situations while following company and local policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Support procurement activities and help evolve procurement processes and strategic understanding of the extended supply chain

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with a procurement system
  • Experience working with suppliers and vendors
  • Available to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary
  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
  • Experience working with ERPLN (preferred)
  • Experience of strategic sourcing objectives including supply base optimization, enterprise leveraging, supplier performance improvement and business considerations to develop the company's supplier base (preferred)
  • Experience building and using industry knowledge for planning and performance accomplishment, including knowledge of competition and strategic partners (preferred)
  • Experience in project leadership/management, supporting, leading, and delegation of project team responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle (preferred)
  • Experience leading complex opportunity capture and problem solving (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred)
  • U.S. Person status required for export-control compliance: U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
