About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support development programs, research efforts, and strategic initiatives in Product Security
- Develop strategies and processes to protect and sustain the warfighter's competitive advantage
- Software-focused: develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and software system designs
- Integration-focused: develop requirements, documentation, test plans, and test procedures, and participate in verification activities for anti-tamper development
- Work closely with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders, including DOD customers, suppliers, and industry subject matter experts
- Integration engineers define system requirements and architectures, develop and oversee new designs, and support the system life cycle through final testing, verification, and fielding
- Software-focused engineers support requirements definition, create software architectures, implement software designs and features, and test security solutions on fielded computing devices
- Work across hardware and software domains to field protection solutions across Boeing and supplier-partnered defense products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain program access; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance required post-start
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
- Subject to post-offer drug and alcohol testing when criteria are met
- Preferred: security-focused coding experience in anti-tamper functions and cryptography implementation
- Preferred: experience in requirements analysis
- Preferred: experience in cryptography, secure communications protocols, and reverse engineering techniques at system and component level
- Preferred: experience designing and/or integrating systems or subsystems in the Defense industry
- Preferred: understanding of tactical systems capabilities and operations
- Preferred: experience or interest in commercial off-the-shelf FPGAs and COTS security features
- Current U.S. Secret Clearance preferred
