About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain IP&S command media, including processes, instructions, and guidance, to support IP&S objectives and EVM requirements
- Develop and maintain strategies for Program Scheduling practice and integrate plans and schedules across functional groups, product groups, suppliers, and partners
- Develop, coordinate deployment of, troubleshoot, and maintain schedule management and reporting tools and processes
- Advise and recommend IP&S change and baseline management best practices, processes, techniques, and tools
- Develop, deliver, coordinate delivery of, and maintain training on Program Scheduling and Schedule Integration
- Provide recommendations to program leadership on integrated planning and scheduling issues
- Manage and administer communications on program scheduling topics across Boeing components and divisions
- Facilitate functional review of scheduling products, proposals, initial baselines, and major baseline changes
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to lower-level employees
- Provide surge support to programs when necessary
- Serve as a BDS Integrated Planning and Scheduling Subject Matter Expert
- Perform some work onsite at a listed location option at the hiring team's discretion
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects
- 5+ years of experience in large-scale complex development programs using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5+ years of experience with process management
- 3+ years of experience as a Master Scheduler
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and applying Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) requirements
- Experience in systems integration preferred
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required
- U.S. Citizenship required for the security clearance
- U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance

- Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
