About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support V-22 modification efforts at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan
  • Work closely with V-22 Global Technical Operations Leadership on planning, execution, and delivery of Quality products and services
  • Develop and motivate a diverse team to maximize individual and team performance
  • Perform inspections on V-22 aircraft for modification activities
  • Maintain Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics
  • Ensure program, contract, customer, regulatory, international standards, and working agreement requirements are deployed using established procedures
  • Collect and verify data to identify root causes of routine problems
  • Perform internal audits for compliance with Quality Management System standards, configuration assurance, business, regulatory, and customer requirements
  • Document audit results in standard formats
  • Work under general direction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance/modification
  • 3+ years of V-22 aircraft experience
  • 3+ years of Quality Assurance Inspector experience (CDI, CDQAR, QAR, 7-level)
  • Experience in interpreting and utilizing aircraft technical data
  • Willingness to work variable shifts (shift 1, 2, or 3)
  • Ability to meet international assignment health requirements
  • Ability to obtain a work visa, depending on country requirements
  • Ability to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
  • Ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the assigned country
  • Ability to obtain international health clearances and a visa/work permit
  • Must be a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. §120.62 for U.S. export control compliance
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requirements include U.S. Citizenship
  • Interim U.S. Secret Clearance pre-start and final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start required
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
