About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review proposals, contracts, regulatory, program, and customer requirements for early quality involvement
- Prepare and maintain Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics
- Analyze process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root causes
- Develop preventive or corrective actions with stakeholders and support implementation
- Research, compile, and analyze performance reports and process control statistics
- Conduct quality source selection and supplier process reviews
- Conduct hardware, software, and system-level audits and report results to management
- Analyze data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment
- Work under general direction
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance or modification experience
- 5+ years of experience with Quality Systems
- Ability to travel up to 1 year assignments
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Minimum 3 years FA-18EF experience with U.S. Navy maintenance programs (preferred)
- Organizational level maintenance experience (preferred)
- Drug and alcohol testing may apply to post-offer applicants and employees
