About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support cross-functional and multi-team coordination between BGS Functions and Business while ensuring project milestones are met
Analyze Quality incidences, internal/external audit findings, and customer issues to determine product risks and implement mitigation plans
Apply Systems Thinking and recommend Quality Management System improvements and efficiencies
Represent the Company on industry working groups to develop industry standards for quality
Advise senior leadership on Quality Management System improvements, overall health, and streamlining opportunities
Consult in high-level reviews of corrective actions at the enterprise and customer level to identify trends or systemic issues
Advise on development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions
Provide oversight of the BGS Quality Risk Management process across the BGS network
Develop metrics, controlled work instructions, and documentation to enhance compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Lead improvement projects using Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, and AS9100
Conduct research and compile and analyze performance reports and data to continuously improve Quality processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of experience in project coordination, process improvement, or lean initiatives
3+ years of experience working with Quality Management Systems, ISO9001, AS9100/AS9120
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point) and data analytics tools (Tableau, etc.)
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the time
Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required for U.S. export control compliance
U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Preferred: Professional Project Management (PMP) Certification
Preferred: Experience supporting aerospace distribution, supply chain, maintenance, repair, and overhaul, or related operations
Preferred: 5+ years of experience in project coordination, process improvement, or lean initiatives
Preferred: 5+ years of experience working with Quality Management Systems, ISO9001, AS9100/AS9120
Preferred: 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and data analytics tools
Preferred: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
