About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide real-time support to on-orbit GPS satellite operations
  • Investigate and resolve satellite anomalies
  • Train to become a subsystem Subject Matter Expert for GPS Block IIF satellite subsystems
  • Perform GPS performance trending and analysis
  • Interface with operations customers as a subsystem SME
  • Write technical reports
  • Support and initiate process and documentation improvements
  • Support Spacecraft Command Processor and Mission Planning responsibilities
  • Work closely with spacecraft payload and secondary payload subject matter experts
  • Interact daily with U.S. Space Force 2 Navigation Warfare Squadron personnel commanding satellites and conducting satellite performance trending and analysis
  • Work fully onsite at Schriever SFB, Colorado

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active (interim or final) secret or above U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Systems engineering or related experience
  • Willingness and ability to relocate at own expense if not within commuting distance of Schriever SFB
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or directly related non-US equivalent qualification
  • Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • U.S. export control compliance requires a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Language Requirements: Not Applicable
