About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Architect and design hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises data centers with Microsoft Azure
  • Develop workload migration strategies, hybrid identity management, and multi-cloud interoperability
  • Evaluate and implement Azure ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, and site-to-site network connections
  • Lead implementation of hybrid cloud infrastructures, including Azure virtual networks, storage, and compute services
  • Assess on-premises infrastructure for cloud adoption, hybrid extensions, and modernization
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and risk evaluations
  • Develop and enforce security, governance, and compliance best practices using Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and Azure AD Connect
  • Collaborate with development, operations, cloud platform, and security teams
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance, scalability, and disaster recovery
  • Monitor emerging hybrid cloud technologies and Azure updates
  • Document architectures and create technical blueprints
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers
  • Participate in proof-of-concept projects, vendor evaluations, and capacity planning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience with IT Infrastructure Server, Systems Integration and Operations
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and hybrid tools like Azure Stack or Azure Arc
  • 5+ years of experience with on-premises systems, including servers, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and basic data center management
  • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing and supporting wide area network/local area network environments
  • 5+ years of experience developing automation testing and maintaining automation tools
  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
  • Current advanced certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies, regulated industries, compliance standards, and large-scale hybrid cloud migrations
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
  • U.S. Person required to meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required by the U.S. Government
  • Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance required post-start
