About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and execute strategy for highly reliable and scalable data and analytics cloud platforms
  • Create and implement repeatable and reusable frameworks for Data and AI solutions
  • Establish architecture best practices, standards, and guidelines
  • Design and implement self-service frameworks enabling compliant business-unit solutions
  • Develop cloud economics frameworks to monitor and analyze cloud costs
  • Develop hands-on Proofs of Concept and Minimum Viable Products for critical capability needs
  • Own communication and collaboration for assigned projects, including stakeholder reviews, cross-team alignment, and technical research
  • Establish working relationships with technology and consulting vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams and hold them accountable
  • Stay current with Cloud and Data architecture trends, tools, and technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture relating specifically to Data platforms and technologies
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable computing infrastructure for data solutions, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud architectures
  • 5+ years of experience with Apache Spark or Databricks
  • 5+ years of experience building repeatable, reusable, and self-service cloud and data architecture frameworks
  • 5+ years of experience in data security, governance, and compliance, including encryption, role-based access, metadata management, and regulatory alignment with FedRAMP, NIST, and GDPR
  • 5+ years of experience modernizing legacy technology to cloud native and refactoring monoliths to microservices using DDD, event storming, strangler fig, and transitional architectures
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud economics, FinOps, or IT compliance roles
  • 3+ years of experience designing solutions using ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, deep learning, optimization, and other advanced AI techniques
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict Of Interest assessment process
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements and be a U.S. Person
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science or greater in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or another technical degree
  • Preferred: 5+ years in manufacturing or Aviation & Aerospace industries
  • Preferred: Experience with enterprise data ontologies, semantic models, containerized/serverless architectures, self-service analytics platforms, data science, statistics, machine learning, GenAI, application integration, APIs, and microservices
