About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop engineering solutions for the F-22 Raptor
- Enhance existing field units by adding new capabilities
- Architect and test completely new systems
- Progress products through the development lifecycle as part of a cross-functional team
- Develop requirements to support customer needs
- Design networked architectures to enable new capabilities
- Analyze test data
- Collaborate with Responsible Engineers, customer technical staff, suppliers, and Lockheed Martin teammates
- Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for F-22 avionics subsystems and weapon system architecture
- Translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications for lab and operational environments
- Analyze off-nominal test data for accuracy, quality, and fidelity before delivery to the customer
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 9+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
- Ability to obtain F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start required
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or mission systems preferred
- Experience with agile development methodologies preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and respond to agile requirements and critical path customer need dates preferred
