About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage a team supporting Proprietary, Autonomous & Maritime Programs
  • Serve as SI&WS PLM Project leader for deployment of IPDM in El Segundo, collaborating with Program, IT, Enterprise PLM, and Siemens
  • Develop and implement organizational and technical strategies to improve team, process, and tool performance
  • Provide education, coaching, and guidance on PLM processes and tools to internal teams and external partners
  • Collaborate with Enterprise PLM and IT teams to advocate for site and division needs
  • Manage relationships with internal and external suppliers, customers, and stakeholders
  • Oversee process documentation and compliance with engineering data standards and export control regulations
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to minimize disruptions and improve operational efficiency
  • Apply problem-solving, data analysis, and evidence-based decision-making skills daily

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 11+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in a managerial role
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management systems, Change Management, and PLM Processes and Tools
  • Working knowledge of U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Sanctions Controls
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix teams
  • Strong planning, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements and qualify as a “U.S. Person” under 22 C.F.R. §120.62
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required by the U.S. Government
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Post-offer applicants and employees are subject to drug testing when criteria is met
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, engineering technology, or a related technical discipline may qualify under the stated academic exception criteria
