About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect, compile, manipulate, and document source data supporting resource forecasts and Estimates at Completion (EACs) at the control account level using advanced Excel functions
  • Assist in developing and maintaining cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including Earned Value Management (EVM), for material cost and major subcontracts
  • Run routine weekly/monthly performance reports on project progress and improvement or concern areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and prepare variance analyses
  • Support business case development using appropriate indices and accurate data analysis
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cost and performance measurement
  • Ensure compliance with Boeing and governmental financial policies, procedures, processes, systems, and tools
  • Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections
  • Train, mentor, and review junior analysts’ work through peer reviews
  • Perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options at the hiring team’s discretion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
  • 5+ years of experience in a Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
  • 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a “U.S. Person” under 22 C.F.R. §120.62
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Must comply with post-offer drug testing when criteria are met
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree
  • Preferred: Experience with material cost analysis
  • Preferred: Experience integrating major subcontractor EVM cost reporting into financial and/or accounting systems such as IPMR and CPR
  • Preferred: Experience with large major subcontractor(s), CPFF/IF subcontracting
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience with financial analysis, resource forecasting, and/or assessment of associated risks and opportunities
  • Preferred: Experience with variance analysis reporting (VAR)
  • Preferred: Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and ability to meet deliverables
  • Preferred: Experience as a change agent
  • Preferred: Ability to communicate and drive change with multiple stakeholders
