About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to plan, execute, and monitor engineering initiatives
  • Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to products, processes, and services
  • Facilitate project status meetings and report to leadership and team members
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets
  • Develop plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, operation sequencing, and workflows
  • Evaluate new techniques and technologies for production and service operations
  • Design, maintain, and optimize production systems integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel
  • Conduct workflow design and analysis
  • Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide metrics and summary analyses
  • Research, design, develop, improve, and implement processes and tools to improve schedule performance, lower costs, and improve quality
  • Develop and implement facility/factory modification plans and operating-method revisions
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education
  • U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance required post-start
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Successful completion of the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
  • 5+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with key functions in an integrator/lead role preferred
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams preferred
  • Passion for continuous improvement and desire to stabilize and improve manufacturing preferred
