About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-discipline Subsidiary Infrastructure Operations team of 12–16 direct reports
  • Define and execute the network security product roadmap aligned to enterprise standards and IT&O strategy
  • Drive Infrastructure technology roadmap implementation and strategic partnerships across network, compute, cloud, database, and storage technology stacks
  • Build and maintain the infrastructure technology stack through design, engineering, and lifecycle management
  • Champion infrastructure-as-code, automated control testing, and continuous improvement of engineering and delivery practices
  • Establish operational hand-off processes with Infrastructure & Operations for day-to-day support, patching, and incident handling
  • Partner with Enterprise Security to drive compliance and implementation of AI-enabled defensive controls
  • Manage infrastructure vendor relationships and contracts, conduct quarterly business reviews, evaluate tools, and drive optimization and adoption
  • Serve as company ISO control owner for Infrastructure controls; manage security findings and reconcile systems with Boeing policies and ISO controls
  • Interface with corporate audit and sustain infrastructure security processes and compliance
  • Consult with Business Units and IT organizations to influence adoption of IT policies, practices, and infrastructure controls
  • Ensure business units understand corporate policies and regulatory compliance requirements when developing systems dependent on the corporate network
  • Manage and maintain silent operations for worldwide warehouse operations supporting Boeing Distribution businesses
  • Own security and compliance for infrastructure technologies including network, cloud, compute, database, and storage
  • Own capacity planning, cost management, and platform health reporting for Infrastructure Technology services
  • Hire, retain, and develop senior individual contributors, managers, and team leads; drive career development and performance reviews
  • Provide cost, risk, and impact analysis for infrastructure decisions and present findings to executive stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years’ experience in the information technology industry with focus on Infrastructure or and Operations support
  • 10+ years’ experience in a management role with both people and business unit leadership responsibilities
  • 10+ years’ experience supporting enterprise technology environments including applications, infrastructure, cloud services, databases, networks, or and identity and access management platforms
  • 10+ years’ experience in teaming and collaboration skills, and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix team
  • 3+ years’ experience with Zero Trust principles and architecture, including identity-driven access enforcement, micro segmentation, and policy-based controls
  • Experience with managing vendors, contracts, and/or working with Cybersecurity controls or Applications systems
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict Of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements; a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Master's or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
  • 12+ years of network security engineering experience in large enterprise environments (preferred)
  • Experience leading an Infrastructure Technology and Operations organization in a large enterprise environment (preferred)
  • Experience integrating Enterprise systems with subsidiary organizations networks and systems in a large enterprise (preferred)
  • Experience with public cloud security across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud-native technologies (preferred)
  • Experience with regulatory/compliance frameworks including SOC2, ISO27001, FedRAMP, PCI, HIPAA, and NIST CSF (preferred)
  • Knowledge of NAC platforms such as Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass, DNS security tools such as Cisco Umbrella and Infoblox, or NDR platforms such as ExtraHop, Vectra, and Darktrace (preferred)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible and policy-as-code practices (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing technical roadmaps, governance documentation, and executive updates (preferred)
