About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop software with agile team leadership and participate in agile events
- Execute DevSecOps processes to deliver software baselines at sprint boundaries
- Participate in PI planning as an agile team member
- Engage with users and engineers to resolve technical issues
- Coordinate development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of software products and system integrations
- Lead development and maintenance of software architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
- Debug and resolve issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency
- Lead user inquiries, technical troubleshooting, and user feedback analysis
- Develop and improve software processes, tools, and performance metrics
- Consult on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software
- Translate customer requirements into initial software product designs
- Lead software project management and software supplier management activities
- Build web services and applications supporting distributed computing and command-and-control systems for space vehicles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required for the active clearance/program access
- U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
- Experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience developing software using Agile methodologies
- 5+ years of experience with Java, C++, Angular/ReactJS, HTML, and CSS
- 5+ years of experience with software development and configuration management tools
- Ability to complete the required CodeVue technical assessment
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Experience with software programming languages and databases
- Experience deriving and allocating requirements with lifecycle traceability
- Experience with software architecture and design methodologies
- Experience with software development processes and industry standards
- Experience with implementation, validation, and verification processes
