About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Site Strategy and Business Affordability and Governance
- Work across program management, engineering, finance, facilities, and Business Development and Strategy across BDS businesses and programs
- Optimize sites
- Secure infrastructure modernization
- Make Buy and Work Placement decisions
- Manage integrated investment, affordability and governance
- Provide project management oversight of Digital Launchpad finance estimating in fabrication capabilities
- Manage employees and mid-level managers
- Develop projects and program plans across functional areas
- Execute all project phases from initiation through post-completion within scope, time, quality, and constraints
- Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures
- Guide development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives
- Acquire resources for organizational activities
- Provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
- Manage, develop, and motivate employees and mid-level managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience in a management role with both people and business unit leadership responsibilities
- 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
- 3+ years of experience in leading others and directing all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects, demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Final U.S. Top-Secret clearance post-start is required
- Successful completion of the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
- U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Multi-disciplined background with understanding of technology, infrastructure and program management
- Strong understanding of Boeing’s strategic priorities and the defense industrial base
- Ability to lead a cross-functional team
- Ability to drive decision-making with senior leadership
