About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support development, implementation, and sustainment of product security across the full lifecycle
- Develop and refine system requirements, architectures, and certification-ready designs
- Coordinate with systems, software, hardware, customers, suppliers, and industry partners to define cybersecurity requirements, artifacts, activities, and solutions
- Conduct threat analyses, risk assessments, audits, asset and vulnerability identification, risk documentation, and mitigation tracking through closure
- Advise stakeholders on assessment results and provide actionable recommendations for architecture, design, and software assurance improvements
- Establish, integrate, and implement product security standards, processes, and controls aligned with JSIG, DoD RMF, NISPOM, certification, and regulatory requirements
- Support cyber test and validation activities, including tabletop exercises, security-control verification, scan-result analysis, and objective-evidence preparation
- Execute cybersecurity tasks independently to completion within a multidisciplinary teaming environment
- Support Fighters Program training systems throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor Degree
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- 9+ years of experience in development, integration, validations, and verification of cyber security systems
- 5+ years of experience working within the DoD Risk Managed Framework (RMF)
- 3+ years of engineering/technical experience on aircraft, mission systems or training solutions
- U.S. Person status required under U.S. export control requirements
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Less than 20% travel
- Must work 100% onsite at one of the listed location options
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, anti-tamper and/or secure computing and knowledge of DoD policies and requirements
- Preferred: 3+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience
- Preferred: 5+ years of systems/product security engineering for avionics
- Preferred: Experience with vulnerability scanning, mitigation, administration, and system hardening on multiple operating systems
- Preferred: Experience preparing and presenting technical material to diverse audiences
- Preferred: Experience performing threat analysis and security risk assessments
- Preferred: Experience identifying risks and opportunities and collaborating with stakeholders on technical tasks
- Preferred: Experience generating product cybersecurity artifacts for customers/certifiers
- Preferred: Experience in requirements analysis
- Preferred: Significant experience with military aircraft systems
- Preferred: Knowledge of C/C++, Ada, software lifecycles, code comprehension, and secure coding practices
- Preferred: Experience with Program Protection, Software Assurance, or Supply Chain Risk Management practices
