About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Elicit, analyze, decompose, and allocate system and subsystem requirements from stakeholder needs and higher-level system specifications
  • Create, edit, and maintain well-structured, testable requirements using a requirements management tool
  • Develop and maintain functional, logical, and physical system architecture descriptions and traceability
  • Author and maintain technical specifications and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Manage ICD baselines and change control
  • Develop verification plans, procedures, and test cases aligned to requirements
  • Coordinate and perform verification activities, including analysis, inspection, demonstration, and test, and document results
  • Support integration activities and resolve interface mismatches and subsystem discrepancies
  • Maintain requirements traceability matrices and demonstrate requirement closure for reviews and audits
  • Participate in SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR design and technical reviews
  • Provide status and risk assessments for requirements and verification
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, test, suppliers, manufacturing, and product management teams
  • Support configuration and change control processes for requirements, specifications, and ICDs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship Required
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience with satellite systems or space related applications
  • Experience producing systems engineering artifacts such as requirements, specifications, and interface documents
  • Experience supporting system architecture development under guidance of senior engineers
  • Familiarity with Digital System Engineering (DSE) tools and model-based systems engineering practices
  • U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
