About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and develop system and subsystem requirements
  • Develop interface control documents
  • Support systems architecture and design
  • Lead ground and system-level verification, validation, integration, and test
  • Plan and implement requirements management processes, tools, risks, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and verification reports
  • Resolve cross-functional technical issues
  • Evaluate customer and operational needs to test system performance requirements
  • Integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces
  • Perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other quality factors
  • Develop Ground Segment Operational Products supporting space-based systems
  • Support complex system-level threads required to run missions in space
  • Work with a team of engineers using a scaled agile development process
  • Oversee projects and provide system support with automation and modern tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience
  • Active Top Secret US Security Clearance, or successfully completed a Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), within the past 5 years, or agreement to enter a Continuous Vetting program
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
  • Experience in space systems and working with multi-discipline teams
  • Experience with Ops Product architecture, design, development, and test
  • Experience with software requirements verification testing
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Tcl/Tk
  • Experience with Configuration Management tools and processes
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework processes and tools
