About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and develop system and subsystem requirements
- Develop interface control documents and support systems architecture and design
- Support system integration, test, verification, and validation
- Plan, organize, implement, and monitor requirements management, risk, issues, opportunities, technology readiness, and related processes
- Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, and develop requirements
- Resolve cross-functional technical issues
- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and assure interface compatibility
- Perform analyses covering affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory and certification factors
- Write requirements and ICDs for ground systems
- Support ConOps development and product design, development, and test
- Work with engineers using a scaled agile development process
- Engage in model-based systems engineering
- Provide system support with automation and modern tools
- Oversee projects and deliver end products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or directly related field
- Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance, or qualifying Tier 5 investigation completed within the past 5 years, or agreement to enter a Continuous Vetting program
- U.S. citizenship required for the active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Ability to satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
- Preferred: Level 4 typically requires 9 or more years' related work experience
- Preferred experience in space systems and multi-discipline teams
- Preferred experience with Ops Product architecture, design, development, and test
- Preferred experience with software requirements verification testing
- Preferred experience with Python or Tcl/Tk
- Preferred experience with Configuration Management tools and processes
- Preferred experience with Scaled Agile Framework processes and tools
