About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and develop system and subsystem requirements and interface control documents
  • Support systems architecture and design
  • Lead ground- and system-level verification, validation, integration, and test
  • Plan, organize, and implement requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and verification reports
  • Resolve cross-functional technical issues
  • Evaluate customer and operational needs to test system performance requirements and assure interface compatibility
  • Perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory compliance, certification, and product assurance
  • Develop Ground Segment Operational Products supporting space-based systems
  • Support complex system-level threads required to run missions in space
  • Work with a team of engineers using a scaled agile development process
  • Create innovative solutions to technical challenges and provide system support with automation and modern tools
  • Oversee projects and deliver end products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience
  • Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance, or qualifying Tier 5 investigation completed within the past 5 years, or agreement to enter a Continuous Vetting program
  • U.S. citizenship required for the active security clearance
  • U.S. Person status required for export control compliance
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Experience in space systems and working with multi-discipline teams preferred
  • Experience with Ops Product architecture, design, development, and test preferred
  • Experience with software requirements verification testing preferred
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Tcl/Tk preferred
  • Experience with Configuration Management tools and processes preferred
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework processes and tools preferred
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
