About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead ground- and system-level verification, validation, integration, and test
Lead planning, organization, and implementation of requirements management processes, tools, risks, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness
Plan, design, and develop requirements using an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach
Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and verification reports
Resolve cross-functional technical issues
Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and assure interface compatibility
Perform analyses covering affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance factors
Write requirements and interface control documents for ground systems
Support ConOps development and product design, development, and test
Develop Ground Segment Operational Products supporting space-based systems
Support complex system-level mission threads for space missions
Work with engineers using a scaled agile development process
Engage in model-based systems engineering
Lead, mentor, and train others

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Typically, 14 or more years' related work experience
Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance, or successfully complete a Tier 5 investigation within the past 5 years or enter a Continuous Vetting program
U.S. Citizenship required for the active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
Experience in space systems and working with multi-discipline teams
Experience with Ops Product architecture, design, development, and test
Experience with software requirements verification testing
Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Tcl/Tk
Experience with Configuration Management tools and processes
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework processes and tools
Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
