About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and design for high-performance Command and Control software solutions
  • Lead software development activities in a scaled agile methodology using a DevSecOps environment
  • Support software development activities and integrate completed software components into a fully functional software system
  • Support progress demonstration presentations to customer representatives and program/IPT leadership
  • Perform day-to-day activities as Product Owner/Technical Lead, Release Train Engineer/Scrum Master, and/or Integration & Test lead
  • Support the IPT by defining and meeting development and integration schedules alongside a rigorously managed cost baseline
  • Create software tools and services for satellite and ground systems for USG and Commercial customers
  • Work with customers in developing next-generation ground systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain an interim DoD Secret Clearance prestart and final clearance post start
  • 5+ years of experience with software development for space systems and ground segments performing command, control, mission planning and data processing
  • 5+ years of experience in the Software Development lifecycle, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test
  • 3+ years of experience leading software development projects
  • 3+ years of experience with software development using Java, C++, or Python
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment and DevOps methodologies
  • U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance

  • Required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process
