About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support verification development and review test cases and test procedures
Conduct informal and formal Test Readiness Reviews
Lead the Software Test Team in formal verification of software requirements
Lead Factory Acceptance Tests, maintain run logs and daily reports
Document issues and problem reports using change control tools
Report issue burnup charts and verification development status at program management reviews
Track open issues through closure to meet deliverables
Analyze internal and external customer problem reports and integrate Ground Mission Software work with Flight Software, Satellite Simulation, Ground Systems Engineering, and Ground Software leads
Release software life cycle documents according to Boeing processes
Lead compliance with software development and verification processes for audits with Quality Assurance
Lead development of Software Verification Life Cycle documents
Support Change Control Board activities related to software verification
Support planning for verification plans, requirement deviations, requirements, test reports, and other deliverables to meet program milestones
Create software tools and services for satellite and ground systems for U.S. government and commercial customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (Interim prestart, final post start), requiring U.S. Citizenship
5+ years of experience in the Software Development lifecycle, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test
3+ years of experience developing test execution scripts and using test automation tools
3+ years of software development using Java, C++, or Python
Experience in an Agile software development environment and DevOps methodologies
U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
Required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process
Ability to work 100% onsite at El Segundo, CA or Seal Beach, CA
Preferred: 9 or more years’ related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred: Active TS/SCI or DoD Top Secret clearance
Preferred: Product Owner/Technical Lead and/or Integration & Test Lead experience for government programs
Preferred: Understanding of C2 systems and real-time applications
Preferred: SQL/NoSQL, messaging systems, data streaming, Docker, Kubernetes, requirements traceability, and formal acceptance testing experience
