About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform supplier quality activities to ensure products, services, quality systems, special processes, software quality requirements, contracts, and regulations are met
- Manage suppliers supporting component exchange and services programs
- Develop and execute business plans, quality requirements reviews, and quality improvement plans
- Provide education and coaching on the Quality System
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, peers, partners, and suppliers
- Collaborate with Supplier Management and Procurement on new supplier onboarding and Boeing supplier management system records
- Review supplier statements of work and purchase contracts to communicate customer and regulatory requirements
- Create product verification plans for critical/high-risk components
- Manage supplier-raised Notices of Escapes
- Manage Supplier Corrective Action Reports through closure and verification
- Improve BDUK Quality processes to capture and assure supplier requirements
- Partner with BDUK Programme Quality on new contracts and supplier requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Supplier Quality Assurance experience
- Ability to Gain SC clearance
- Quality Management Systems
- Experience working with a globally diverse team
- Aircraft maintenance experience (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul)
- Experience working within an aerospace regulated environment, specifically MAA, EASA or CAA
- Supplier Software Quality requirements
- AS9100 lead auditor
- APQP or PPAP experience
- Continuous Improvement or LEAN qualifications
- Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check
